What Dr. Mordechai Kedar Taught Me About Global Jihad
I recently sat down with Dr. Mordechai Kedar for an episode of The Unfiltered View, and what he revealed should alarm every Canadian who values freedom and security.
Dr. Kedar is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 25 years in Israeli intelligence, a professor at Bar Ilan University, and a leading expert on Islam. He doesn’t traffic in platitudes or political correctness—he speaks hard truths about the Islamist movement that most are too afraid to acknowledge.
The central insight from our conversation? We are facing a coordinated global effort, and we fundamentally misunderstand both its timeline and its logic.
“The Islamists are a very patient people who plan well beyond individual lifetimes,” Kedar explained. While we think in election cycles, they think in generations. The sanctity of life—the very foundation of Western civilization—is our greatest vulnerability. For those committed to global Islamic domination, the end justifies whatever means necessary.
When Kedar discusses their threats of violence, he issues a stark warning: “They mean what they say, and say what they mean.” There is no ambiguity when jihadists call for holy war.

We also discussed Taqiyya—religious deception as a strategic weapon. The Prophet Muhammad stated, “War is deceit.” Kedar warns this is “precisely what Qatar has been doing, playing with the Americans.”
While Canada hasn’t reached a national tipping point, politicians already pander in electorally sensitive ridings. As dynamics expand, public policy risks being shaped more by electoral fear than liberal principle. Dearborn, Michigan is called jihad’s American capital, while London and Paris neighborhoods operate as Islamicized enclaves with distinct social norms and loyalties.
The assumption that Muslim immigrants will naturally assimilate is delusion. As Dr. Kedar explains, Islam often functions as a clan-based social system where identity and authority flow through family, tribe, and religious hierarchy rather than individual autonomy. Within such structures, radicalization risk is high and structural, not accidental.
Canada’s security failures are already producing casualties-in-waiting. According to official statements, over 1,750 individuals who exited Gaza passed security screening by July 2025. A Global News investigation cited intelligence alleging over 450 have direct Hamas associations—individuals highly probable to radicalize others and plan domestic terrorism.
In 2024, Egyptian immigrant Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi and his son were arrested for plotting an ISIS-inspired Toronto attack, despite the father’s appearance in ISIS propaganda—a glaring vetting failure. Pakistani student Muhammad Shahzeb Khan entered Canada in 2023 and was apprehended in 2024 en route to execute an ISIS attack on Jews in New York.
Dr. Kedar would likely characterize Canada as facing moderate-to-high latent threat—masked by social calm but enabled by permissive conditions.
And then there’s this: a website called findidfsoldiers.net lists Canadian lone soldiers who joined the IDF, highlighting those who served since October 7th. My son is on this list. Despite complaints I and others have filed, despite requests for hate crime charges, this site remains online. Spain shut down similar sites—but not Canada. Its author, David Mastracci, is encouraging the hunting of Jews in Canada. In what world is this okay?
Dr. Kedar confirms what many sense but fear to articulate: Canada is approaching a tipping point, and our leaders lack the courage to confront it.
